She was named in honor of her father's grandmother, Channa Tauber (Zwillinger) (1775-1826), and her father's eldest sister, Johanna Glasel (Tauber) (1835-1866). She and her sister, Rudy, were brought to the U.S. by their mother in 1891. The entire family was reunited when Simon and Adele Tauber emigrated with their five youngest children in 1897. Anna was a dressmaker, and did work out of her home.Following her husband's death, she moved to Bronx, NY where she died just 15 months later, at age 49.
