{geni:about_me} I Interviewed Lillian Caplan in1981. She told me that Ester came from Kovan, Lith. where she was the second wife and sister of the first wife of Jacob. When one sister died, Ester became the Mother and the other woman was never mentioned again as the children's mother. Lillian thought she married in 1887 in Lith.. She took care of all the children and had "a child every year". She was very religious. Owned a bakery or creamery. Had no brothers but 3 sisters. She was 72 when she died and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetary in LA.
