handsome redhead. They had five children: one son Nachman, and four
daughters - Rachael, Shlema, Baila, and Vetta.

The family moved to Braila, then to Bucharest.

Ya'acov Yoisef was a fine tailor. He was in the employ of the Royal
family of Romania.

Althogh we do not know the exact date of his death we do know that when
his wife and several daughters left for America in 1900 he is not
mentioned. Therefore it is assumed that he had already passed away by
then.
