{geni:about_me} N.B. Depending on records Bertha's original/ unmarried family name is spelled as both "GERSTL" and "GERSTEL". It is the former which appears in most documents owned by descendants ...
Apparently converted at some point from the Jewish to the Evangelical faith and - as some of her children - changed her name from "Löwy" to "Lonna" ... The name change in Lonna was allowed on July 28, 1897 in Vienna (see HBMa 2668Národní archiv Praha) without religion change (added by Hanuš Grab).

Bertha was buried on 10th. March 1931 in Wien, Zentralfriedhof: T1-19-12-52 (Jewish part of the Zentralfriedhof - added by Hanuš Grab).

Changed Bertha's date of birth to August 15th 1848 on the basis of her birthcertificate, found in my family archives. According to this document, Bertha was born in Prague(added by Sasha Meyer-2963)
