"Her farewell was on Holy Shabbat eve 20 of Tamuz 5653 (meaning: she died). Here was buried (Hebrew abbreviation), important woman of Yaacov [meaning: Jewish. Yaacov means Israel], lady of the house (2 unclear words), that had worked (the original is a "words game" that combines will and crafts that she made by hands) for the favor of her husband and also sons. To the memory of Ztartl, wife of Rabbi Mendel Hochfelder."
