Notes for Sara (Sorel) Lucka
{geni:about_me} Sara (Sorel) Lucka was born in Prague in 1769, the eldest child of Baruch (Benedikt) Lucka and his first wife, Eva (Weiner) Lucka. Through her father, Sara was the 7-great-granddaughter of Rabbi Jehuda Loew (d. 1609), the MaHaral of Prague. On 20 December 1786, she became the second wife of Salomon Zerkowitz, the widower of her father's sister Kella.
Between 1788 and 1808, Sara gave birth to eight children, of whom only two survived her. Widow Sara Zerkowitz died in household number 245 on 23 December 1831, age 62 years.
