{geni:about_me} There are some uncertainties about the family of Malka Kornfeld, and some assumptions have been made. The families need to be correlated with the Familiantbucher, and other records.
The WEINER Stammbaum shows a Malka GOLDMANN as daughter of Michael KORNFELD. Birth records of some grandchildren of Maria KORNFELD, married to Joachim GOLDMANN, state that Maria was daughter of Michael & Anna KORNFELD of Jenikau.
It appears that Elisabetha (also knows as Josepha & Fani) GOLDMANN, and Barbara (Babette) GOLDMANN are both daughters of Joachim & Maria (KORNFELD) GOLDMANN, and are both married to Samuel SELIGMANN . There is some confusion inthat some birth entries of their children list Samuel as "Samuel Seligmann GOLDMANN", whereas duplicate entries give his same as "Samuel SELIGMANN". Similarly some entries seem to mix up the names Samuel's and of Joachim's parents.
It could be that Elisabetha and Barbara are the same person. In favour of them being the same person, Rosa SELIGMANN (born 21 Apr 1826 in Reichenau Haus 59) is stated to be daughter of Barbara in HBM664 and of Elisabetha in HBMa1842. For simplicity, until proven more conclusively, I have assumed that Elisabetha and Barbara are sisters rather than identical.
