{geni:about_me} Marie Cohn (1887-1967) , the daughter of Heinrich studied history in Berlin and Heidelberg by Prof. Hermann Oncken, her brother in law and friend of Alexander. In some sources it is claimed that Marie was the daughter of Alexander. This is not the case as can be read in the very interesting article about Marie referred to in note 6. She became one of the first women in Germany with a doctor degree. She married the banker and politician Carl August Weber (4.2.1871 Oldenburg †17.11.1957 London) , opponent of Hitler and co-founder of the FdP in West-Germany. Like Dr. Curt Goldschmidt he was also painted by Max Liebermann.
