"US Scientist Believed Killed in Alpine Fall
Engelberg, Switzerland:
Prof. Hans George Figdor, 60 year old Philadelphia scientist, who has been missing in the Alps near here for eight days, is believed to have been killed in a fall, police said Wednesday.
Police, mountain guides and volunteers have combed the mountains and refuge huts around Engelberg since Figdor left his hotel for a walk August 10."
