As the sole surviving brother, Otto continued to run the family firm of "Hermann Pollack & Söhne", founded by his paternal grandfather, until his death on 16th. April 1937.
cf. a short article and the death notices which appeared in the Neue Freie Presse on 17th.& 19th. April 1937 respectively, Otto died of a heart attack at his home, Schloss Hadersdorf (in the vicinity of Wien) and was buried on theestate there on 20th. April 1937.
The former also notes that his successor to take over the firm is to be his nephew "Baron Hans Groedel".
