Notes for Saloman Schwarz
{geni:about_me} Saloman went to Brno from Galzecs Hungary. I am still trying to locate more information about this family there. He traveled to Brno and became the cantor of the synagogue there. The large building of the GreatSynagogue of Brno was completed in 1855 so Saloman was there for the planning and construction of the synagogue. Saloman and Eleanor were married in 1852 and lived their entire married life in Brno. They lived in several different houses there. Saloman was a Levi and is buried in the cemetary in Brno next to his wife Eleanor. He died of pneumonia in 1888.

His son Ludwig was my grandfather and he evidently inherited his musical talent as he was a composer, performer, and music teacher. Ludwig was born in 1866 and married his first wife about 1890. My father was the child of his second wife, Irene Neurath.
