Aron has been also leader (Vorstand) der Gesellschaft der Freunde, the most important club of jewish upper class in Berlin. He was one of leader of the othodox school and therefor a opponent of the reformistic movement under Abraham Wertheim (the father of the Warehouse-Owner Georg) and Rabbi Dr. Aub.
