{geni:about_me} Alive in 1851, but not in 1857 census.
http://books.google.com/books?id=7mwLAAAAIAAJ&...lleschau&f=falseRandy:
This is what I found so far in Holesov records (Prague Natl.archive).
Herman Jelinek, 24 years old, married in February 2, 1833 Babeth Braun, 28y. Witnessed by Lipman Jelinek of Holesov.
Lipman Jelinek of Holesov house no. 2, 20y old, married in April 20, 1800 Sprinzl Steinhart, 28 years old, witnessed by Moises Steinhart.
Other Jelineks:
Moises Jelinek, 26y, house no.2, married in May 23, 1837 Marie Gutwein, 22y, witnessed by Isak Beer.
Herman Jelinek (and this is a bit strange but must be reported as well).
Herman Jelinek of Prerov, 32y, married in December 1, 1840 in Holesov Susana Adler, 28y. It should be other person since we have still Elisabeth aka Babeth Jelinek, widdow after Lipman in Census 1857.

I have to see Holesov death records.

Randy:
According to Holesov birth records, Lippman Jelinek was born as I indicated (September 24), his mother was Betti née Braun. Interestingly, his father was listed as Herman Jelinek in the book (?!).
They got married in February 5, 1833.

Hi Randy,
At the end of last year I went to Kromeriz district archive where Censuses of Holesov are stored today. Well, you can what I found and what I did not.
In Census 1857:
House no.31: Moses Jelinek born 1811, wife Marie born 1813, son Leopold born 1849, daughters Netti born 1839, and Resi born 1855, Moses´s sister Julie Jelinek born 1829.
House no. 1b: Elisabeth Jelinek, widdow, born 1809, son Leopold aka Lippman, born September 24, 1840.
I know you wrote your Leopold was born in September 21, 1840 in Unicov. How accurate is that info? I will check whatever I can in Vienna archives next time.
I then looked into Census 1868 to see if I can find Herman Jelinek, born - as you wrote in your chart - in Holesov in October 27, 1867. However, I could not find him in the whole Census. It indicates that he left Holesov quite early.
Regards,
Julius
