{geni:about_me} The niece of my grandfather Arnold Schönberg (the composer) -- Inge Hofmann geb. Blumauer (daughter of Otilie Schönberg and Oskar Blumauer aka Oskar Felix) -- managed to survive with her husband Werner Hofmann through the bombing of Dresden but was shot by SS on the street shortly thereafter on 30 April 1945. Werner died immediately and Inge died later that year from her injuries. There is correspondence from Otilie in the Arnold Schönberg Center describing the details.
